Seussical~The Musical

Seussical~The Musical was CSOPA's Main Stage Production for 2011..and was a fantastical, magical, musical extravaganza! Tony winners Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty ("Ragtime", "Once on This Island") lovingly brought to life all of our favorite Dr. Seuss characters, including Horton the Elephant, The Cat in The Hat, Gertrude McFuzz, Lazy Mayzie, and the little child with the big imagination-Jo Jo. With such musical interludes as "Oh, The Thinks You Can Think" and "It's Possible (In McElligot's Pool) captured the show's spirit of imagination, as the colorful characters transported us from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus to the invisible world of the Whos. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community were challenged and emerge triumphant, in a story that made us laugh and cry...
